Making a mat from belts is quite simple. All you need is 10-12 belts made of natural or artificial leather, an awl or punch, twine or rope.
The belts need to be made the same length by cutting off the buckle. Make holes along the edges of the straps at a distance of approximately 3 cm from each other and 0.5 cm from the edge. Secure them together using thin hemp rope. The order of pulling the rope is arbitrary; you can fasten it along the belts, across it, crosswise between the holes.

To create this small rug you will need 150 wine corks, glue, a rubber shower mat, a sharp knife, coarse sandpaper and a cutting board.
Wash the plugs thoroughly in soapy water. To remove red wine stains, you can soak them in a bleach solution, then rinse and dry.
Divide each cork lengthwise into two pieces using a cutting board and a sharp knife.
Place the corks with the cuts down on the table as they will be located on the rug, and decide on the size of the future rug. Then cut out the base of the required size from the rubber material. The cork pattern can be anything - it all depends on your imagination.
Glue the corks to the base with glue suitable for gluing such surfaces.
The cork mat must dry completely. To make it waterproof, you can treat the surface with a sealant.

To make such carpets with your own hands, it is better to sew labels onto some kind of fabric, maybe even thin. Labels sewn on each other will additionally give the carpet the necessary density. It is better to use a sewing machine for this work, since manually sewing on each label is a very lengthy process.
The lines should be made around the perimeter of the label, where it was sewn to the jeans. The pattern can be anything: an even mesh, a herringbone, a spiral for a round carpet, but labels sewn on top of each other in a slightly irregular order look most impressive.
