Then simply paint over the desired surface, remove the tape and leave the shoes to dry for a day.

This option looks best on light shoes with black or dark acrylic paints.

Take transparent glue, the same masking tape and a package (or better yet, several) of small disco glitter - the color you want.

Separate the heel, toe, or even sole with tape, apply glue, and then simply sprinkle a few handfuls of glitter on top, trying to distribute them evenly.
