Level sensor

The lock is blinking on the screen. Water does not fill into the system, it is constantly drained, and the SMA slows down in the middle of the cycle. Check the pressure switch hose for blockages.

Remove the top cover. At the side wall you will find a pressure switch;

  • Disconnect its wiring and disconnect the hose;
  • Connect the tube in place of the hose;
  • Blow into it;
  • Do you hear clicks? This means the device is working. If not, replace it.

Motor brushes

Above we described how the indicators behave in the event of an engine malfunction. You may also hear extraneous sounds and notice sparking.

The motor brushes transmit electricity to the rotor to spin and operate the motor. Over time they wear off. Replacement is easy, the main thing is to select suitable elements for installation.

You put things in the drum and started the program, but after a while you discovered that the Kandy washing machine stopped washing, did not spin the drum and displayed code E08 on the display. Before stopping, you may have observed one of the following signs:

  • the drum of the machine rotated for a short time at high speeds (right with water immediately after turning it on);
  • the drum rotated only in one direction - clockwise or counterclockwise;
  • The SMA did not rotate the drum at all - error 8 came on almost immediately.

How to determine the error code on cars without a display

Outdated Indesit models have a built-in EVO-I control system. However, they do not have a display to display information. But, nevertheless, they are able to report errors that have arisen in the system. They can be identified by blinking indicator lights. For example, flashing rapidly five times with a break of several seconds indicates error code F05.

In vehicles equipped with the EVO-II control system, the method for determining codes is slightly different. After all, each model has different functionality. And this makes it difficult to read errors. To understand the fault code, you need to understand what this or that indicator indicates.

The following types of indicators are distinguished:

  • timer – kn1;
  • super wash – kn2;
  • quick wash – kn3;
  • additional rinse – kn4;
  • spin – led4.

Now let's look at how to read the meaning of indicator signals.

These washing machines signal breakdowns in the system by indicating special function buttons and a “Spin” light. To help you determine the malfunction, you should focus on the serial numbers of the buttons when recalculating them from left to right, and not on the names of the functions. Since the latter may differ due to changes in the control panel on the listed machine models.

Any error code will be accompanied by constant rapid flashing of the “Lock” indicator, which is responsible for blocking the hatch door.
