4. The inscriptions for temperature control are not on the stove body itself, but on the burner control knobs. My stove is not even two years old, I wash these handles about 2 times a month, I clean them very carefully, practically without rubbing, but the inscriptions have already begun to wear off. Of course, this is a small thing, you can easily find your way around without these notes, but I was still upset.

Conclusion: I liked the Indesit gas stove, it’s pleasant and convenient to cook on it, nothing rattles or creaks, everything works smoothly. It looks quite decent and goes well with modern kitchen furniture and all sorts of steel kitchen utensils. But this stove is clearly not going to last for centuries)) I think that in 10-15 years it will already be worn out and will have to be replaced.

I didn’t specially prepare the stove for the “photo shoot”; my house is being renovated, so forgive me for the low aesthetic quality of the photos) I didn’t take a close-up photo of the handles; it’s not very noticeable in the photos that the white paint has faded.

I don’t know why my opinion is so radically different from the previous ones - I also have the letter S in my name, maybe that’s the point? Everything seems to be fine - but the oven does not bake pies (I have had experience with pies since childhood - I baked both in an electric Lysva and in a gas-powered communal apartment, everything was browned and baked). But in this one! Burns on the bottom, white on top, poorly baked on the inside.

There are cookies in the photo, you can imagine what the pies look like. If the oven is at the highest temperature (220C) on the highest racks, the top will brown slightly. Especially if you brush it with egg. But during this time, the bottom usually manages to burn......According to the instructions for the stove, the pies should be baked for 30-40 minutes at 180 - the manufacturer himself admits that something is wrong. And the oven bakes meat, fish, and chicken without any problems, maybe just a little longer.

(I’m adding: it turned out to be impossible to buy a stove with a good oven with these dimensions (50x50) in Moscow - there is only the above-described Indesit, the Turkish “Ardo” (that is, an awl for soap), I don’t consider domestic ones at all. It is worth remembering that burners from stoves of other brands are not suitable for Indesit stoves:

  • burner size - usually not a determining factor, but worth considering for cooking using a variety of cookware; Each cookware has its own burner size, otherwise the utensils can be damaged;
  • The power of the burners also matters - usually a burner with high power is installed, two with medium power and the last one with the lowest power; some models are equipped with a special burner for faster cooking;
  • The classic shape is considered a circle , but some models have square, oval or even triangular burners; it all depends on the wishes and habits of the buyer;
  • The stove is standardly equipped with four burners of different power ; when choosing a smaller quantity, it is worth remembering how many dishes are usually prepared at home;

Embedding type

  • built-in - they represent two separate blocks: a hob and an oven; it is permissible to use blocks from different models of the same brand, but excluding models from other companies; when purchasing, you should think about the compatibility of the blocks when choosing a built-in model;

Look at the control knob. Count the divisions. And divide 360 ​​degrees by this number. So we will assume a division step, for example: each division = increase in temperature by X degrees. It is important! This way you will understand the error: promise is reality.

Most often, the minimum is 120 degrees (bake meringues, dry marshmallows), the maximum is 320 degrees (I don’t know such recipes, I don’t cook).

Turn on the oven to some knob position that you consider minimal. Let the oven preheat. We will gradually heat it up from a low temperature and check at what turn of the knob the sugar melts, that is, we will reach 170 degrees.

Make a square with sides out of foil and add a spoonful of sugar. Place this piece in a frying pan for easy removal from the oven.

Place the foil with sugar in the oven. We wait 5 minutes. Let's open it and take a look. If it doesn’t melt, we write that in such and such a situation it doesn’t melt. Increase by one division and repeat the process: wait 5 minutes, open.
