In our article we will give advice on how to choose the right vacuum cleaner and be satisfied with your purchase. A modern vacuum cleaner is no longer just a device that quickly collects dust. In addition to this function, many models can perform a number of others, for example, washing the floor, efficiently cleaning furniture or windows, and even ionizing the air.

Vacuum cleaner type
Depending on the area of application, vacuum cleaners can be divided into 4 types:
Car vacuum cleaners
Car vacuum cleaners are mainly used in cars and for cleaning small surfaces. There are no detergents among them. Car vacuum cleaners are quite compact and convenient. But they have little power, and the quality of cleaning leaves much to be desired.
Robot vacuum cleaners
Robot vacuum cleaners differ from all other types in that they clean the apartment independently, without human help. Such vacuum cleaners are recharged from a special docking station. Some robotic vacuum cleaners have the ability to set a timer, and at a given time, such vacuum cleaners themselves will begin cleaning the room. Another advantage is that they are quite compact and can penetrate under furniture, cleaning places that are not so easy for humans to reach. But today such vacuum cleaners have low power and will not be able to remove heavy dirt.
Upright vacuum cleaners
Vertical vacuum cleaners have a slightly different structure compared to conventional ones: due to the connection of the motor and dust collector to the pipe, they are very compact, you can easily find a place to put the vertical vacuum cleaner. An important disadvantage is the high noise level of the vacuum cleaner.
Conventional vacuum cleaners
Conventional vacuum cleaners represent the majority of all vacuum cleaners available on the market. They can be found in every store. An abundance of models in various colors will allow you to find exactly what will fit into your interior.
Handheld vacuum cleaners and mop cleaners
Mini vacuum cleaners make it easy to remove debris from sofas or car seats. For example, Electrolux ZB6106WDT works wirelessly: it will give maximum comfort.
A mop-vacuum cleaner is not as miniature as a manual device, but still not heavy, so it is convenient to operate. Some devices, like the Rowenta RH8829WO, are also battery-powered: the cord does not interfere with cleaning. Dust-collecting mops are designed for both smooth surfaces and carpets.
Many vacuum cleaners and mops also “can” steam. They thoroughly remove stains and disinfect surfaces. These devices are suitable for both floors and furniture, curtains. And the Steam brush and steam cleaner 15in1 from BLACK+DECKER is also equipped with a mini vacuum cleaner for hard-to-reach places and clothes.

Suction tube
Tubes for vacuum cleaners are made of metal and/or plastic. A plastic tube, like that of the SUPRA VCS-1475, is lighter than a metal tube, so it is more convenient to clean. But the iron one (like Gorenje VC 2102 BCY IV) is more durable.
The design of the suction tube affects the comfort of use. A model with a tube consisting of two elements (for example, Zanussi ZANSC05) is less convenient than a telescopic version (like the Bosch BGB45300). Before cleaning, the composite version must be assembled, and then disassembled again for compact storage.
The retractable tube can be adjusted in length to suit the owner’s needs. It folds easily and takes up less space than the composite version. A special latch secures the pipe in the user-selected position.
Nozzles and brushes
For a vacuum cleaner to clean even better, it needs all kinds of attachments. The device comes with at least two devices - for the carpet/floor and for cracks. The inexpensive ROTEX RVB18-E also has them.
The carpet and floor brush has a switch to show/hide the bristles. The crevice tool helps remove dirt from under furniture and baseboards.
Convenient brushes that are rarely included in the classic set:
- for furniture upholstered with fabric - a small brush with plush or velor inserts: it removes “trifles” well and does not harm the upholstery;
- for furniture (polished) - a brush with high, dense bristles: does not spoil the polish;
- for parquet and laminate (for example, Thomas brand) - long pile protects the sensitive coating from scratches;
- a turbo brush (mechanical or electric) is a “must-have” for owners of “woolen pets”: on the brush (such as Sencor SVX110TB) there is a rotating roller with bristles, which perfectly “clings” to fur and hair. Important: Using this brush reduces the dust picking force.

Type of cleaning
Initially, when planning to buy a vacuum cleaner, you must decide what type of cleaning you need. As a rule, the following types of cleaning are distinguished:
Wet cleaning
Wet cleaning is a function inherent only to washing vacuum cleaners. Using wet cleaning, you can both wash the floor and wet clean carpets, furniture and even windows. Here it is worth paying attention to the volume of the water tank and detergent container. The volume of the water container usually varies from 5 to 15 liters, and for detergents 3-5 liters. Volumes should be chosen taking into account the size of the room that needs to be washed: the larger the room, the larger volumes are needed. On the other hand, the larger the water and detergent tanks, the less often you will have to stop cleaning and refill them.
Dry cleaning
Almost all vacuum cleaners have this type of cleaning. Dry cleaning involves cleaning various surfaces from dust and dirt: linoleum, parquet, carpets, etc. Dust is collected in special bags, containers or water filters that need to be cleaned from time to time. An important criterion is the suction power, which we will discuss below.
ADVICE No. 1 from ROS-POTREB
When wet cleaning a room, you should use detergents recommended by the manufacturer. This will allow your vacuum cleaner to work longer without failure. Washing vacuum cleaners usually support dry cleaning in addition to wet cleaning. However, washing vacuum cleaners also have disadvantages, for example, washing vacuum cleaners are much larger and heavier than regular ones, and after each use it is necessary to disassemble such a vacuum cleaner in order to wash it. And of course their price is higher.
ADVICE No. 2 from ROS-POTREB
Please note that wet cleaning is not suitable for all surfaces.
For example, carpets made from natural materials, parquet, laminate and furniture that are too sensitive to moisture are not recommended to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. a steam cleaning function have appeared on the market relatively recently . Steam allows for deeper cleaning of surfaces, killing dust mites and germs that a regular vacuum cleaner cannot reach.
What to look for when choosing?
Getting acquainted with the variety of household appliances and understanding how to choose a good and reliable vacuum cleaner for your home and subsequently not regret the purchase, study the main criteria that influence making the right decision.
Below we provide a number of useful tips on choosing equipment, taking into account its technical characteristics and design features.
Criterion #1 - type of vacuum cleaner and its application
The type of vacuum cleaner, its purpose and capabilities are extremely important criteria. For example, not all models are capable of helping in removing fallen leaves from apple, maple, and birch trees, while commercial ones will be able to do this task. These are available in the range of the German brand Karcher.
Thanks to the stainless steel tank, they can be used to clean the area from leaves, small pebbles and other impurities. And the blowing option will help you get debris out of the most difficult crevices. The vacuum cleaner is extremely good in all respects, and the price of a number of models is affordable for most potential buyers
But such an assistant will be extremely inconvenient when you need to quickly clean small areas - to clean the car interior after a family trip with 1-3 year old children. Or quickly collect shortbread crumbs from the table and floor.
a handheld vacuum cleaner – will be simply indispensable . It is free of bulky tubes, hoses and long cords. Which makes its use incredibly convenient and simple.
But keeping the house clean is the prerogative of robotic assistants . Many models are able to work according to a schedule drawn up for them a week in advance.
The owner does not need to be visible during cleaning - the device will go from room to room to clean and will return to the base when the battery charge is low. And the owner of this automatic miracle vacuum cleaner will receive a report on his smartphone about the work done
But the cost of such advanced technology is not at all small. But you shouldn’t save money on this issue by buying a cheap Chinese robot. The characteristics and capabilities of cheap models are quite mediocre - so you will not be able to get the expected result.
The vertical option is suitable for owners of small apartments or houses - they are most often battery-powered, and one charge is enough for 20-60 minutes of cleaning in the best case. Which will clearly not be enough to clean a two-story cottage with an area of 300 m2 or more.
For large houses, a vertical vacuum cleaner is suitable as an auxiliary tool in the fight against debris and dust. When you need to collect the hair of a shedding pet from pillows or freshen up a room that was cleaned yesterday.
Option 2 in 1 or vertical + portable/manual is a more expensive pleasure. But you should buy it consciously - after all, the capacity of a plastic container is usually 0.2-0.6 liters. And you can’t fill it to capacity - you need to empty it when ½ or 2/3 of the garbage has collected there.
With a vertical assistant, you should not dream of a full-fledged general cleaning of a two-room apartment once a week or two - such equipment will not cope with this task. Will it be a wired model with the largest possible dust collector? And then the container will most likely have to be emptied a couple of times
, classic vacuum cleaners with any type of dust collector are best suited
The cleanest thing to do after cleaning will be a model with a water filter - after such cleaning, even the air in the room will become fresher. But a significant disadvantage of such equipment is difficulty in maintenance.
The aquafilter must be washed and dried after cleaning. And many manufacturers sin with a huge number of parts of the aquafilter, which can be assembled after drying if you are armed with additional instructions.
This is especially true if the functionality of the vacuum cleaner is expanded to the ability to wash floors/wet clean carpets/curtains and other things. This is where it’s very difficult to figure it out without instructions.
But after weekly training there will be no more problems with assembly/disassembly. But you will be extremely satisfied with the quality of cleaning.
Criterion #2 - dust collector and filter system
The type and volume of the dust collector is also an important criterion when choosing home cleaning equipment.
Nowadays the most common options on sale are:
- bag - disposable or reusable, which collects maximum dust, trapping up to 99% inside, and some manufacturers offer bags made of HEPA materials;
- a plastic container without a cyclone is an extremely rare phenomenon, typical of extremely inexpensive models, with a rather weak filtration system;
- cyclone container is a popular option for a dust collector; thanks to the special design of the cyclone filter, a negligible amount of dust penetrates outside the container;
- container with water - an aquafilter, which ensures the cleanest air at the outlet, because its special design wets the smallest dust masses with water, trapping them inside;
- combined option - bag/cyclone, aquafilter/bag, these options are also extremely rare.
Therefore, in order to decide which vacuum cleaner option to choose, taking into account the features of their dust collectors, it is extremely important to first highlight the main tasks for which the device is needed.
Another type of dust collector is a plastic container without a cyclone. It preceded the development of cyclone filters. Such vacuum cleaners are extremely inexpensive, but due to the nature of the garbage collector, they throw back a lot of dust. Therefore, the air in the room cannot be called clean after cleaning with such a device.
If you have to do frequent cleaning, and the rooms have mostly smooth floors, then a cyclonic cleaner will be optimal.
If many rooms have carpets, and there is a cat in the house, then a technique with a bag will do. Such models stand out due to their increased power level.
And although it falls somewhat with filling, it is not significant, which does not interfere with collecting hair and wool from carpets. True, it is still not recommended to fill the bag to capacity.
If someone in the family is allergic to dust, or even has small children and allergy sufferers, you definitely need to take an aquafilter.
A vacuum cleaner with a similar type of dust collector produces clean air at the outlet, leaving inside the box with water not only dust particles, but also tiny inclusions like pollen from flowering plants.

The amount intended for purchase also plays an important role. If the budget is quite limited and there are no special requirements, then the best option would be a classic vacuum cleaner with a bag or a cyclone filter.
The first option will be cheaper, but do not forget that you will regularly have to spend money on consumables - buy disposable or reusable bags.
The cyclone initially has a slightly higher price tag, but the dust collector is made of durable plastic that will last as long as the vacuum cleaner itself.
As for additional filters, most models are equipped with a pre-motor filter and an outlet filter located at the air outlet.
It is better when the package includes HEPA filter 13 and higher. Such a filter element not only provides the highest degree of purification of air masses, but is quite easy to maintain. To do this, it is enough to rinse it under running water when it becomes dirty.
Criterion #3 - power consumption and suction
Another significant characteristic is power. This parameter can often be seen not only on the box with the device, but also on the body of the vacuum cleaner itself. But here the manufacturer is a little cunning, indicating the power consumption. But the suction power on the body is extremely rare to see.
Moreover, it is the suction power, which is also called suction power or traction, that is important.
Fig. 9. For a smooth floor surface, a suction power of 250-300 W is sufficient. If this characteristic is higher, then the device can cope with cleaning carpets and sofas.
Classic models have the highest suction power, vertical devices are in second place, and robotic cleaning equipment is in third place.
But not only this indicator affects the quality of cleaning, so robots with a thrust of 25-40 W show excellent results, scooping up debris with elongated side brushes and pulling it directly into the garbage bin.
Criterion #4 - vacuum cleaner power type
Depending on the type of power supply, devices can be autonomous or network dependent. Which one is better to choose depends on your goals.

If you don’t know how to choose the right vacuum cleaner for your apartment, taking into account the way the device is powered, then focus on your needs, personal preferences, the presence of children and animals, and the frequency of cleaning.
The most powerful are wired models. They are ideal for cleaning a small apartment - the length of the wire is 6-8 meters, allowing you to clean the entire room from one outlet, and vacuum the kitchen for company from the outlet in the hallway.
Criterion #5 - Features and Accessories
As for functionality, when choosing, you should decide what type of cleaning is needed - only dry cleaning or washing the floors too. Based on your needs, you need to select a model.

Steam surface cleaning function
Option to indicate the status of the dust collector and adjust the power
In order for cleaning equipment to successfully perform its preset functions, the manufacturer equips it with a set of accessories. Among which are necessarily one or more brush attachments, a pipe and hose for a conventional vacuum cleaner, a battery and a charger for autonomous models.
Sometimes you have to buy more batteries and brushes. Also, the owner will have to purchase the necessary brushes if they are not included in the basic package.
Most often, users additionally purchase a turbo brush, a soft-bristle brush for parquet, an additional battery and garbage bags.
When choosing a home assistant, be sure to evaluate the need for all the attachments and other accessories included in the kit. It happens that the set of components is very rich and most of them are not useful. And such a number of accessories significantly affects the price
As for the pipe, it is better to choose a telescope pipe made of metal rather than plastic. The composite one is not so convenient; many owners note difficulties when joining its two parts.
The hose must be solid and moderately flexible. And at the ends they contain movable pipes, which, ideally, provide 360 degree rotation.
Criterion #6 - reputation of the equipment manufacturer
To figure out how to choose the right vacuum cleaner, you need to pay attention to the manufacturer’s reputation and reviews of the product you like, left by owners on specialized online sites.
When choosing equipment, you need to check the accompanying documents, the presence of a warranty card and the service life specified by the manufacturer. A high-quality vacuum cleaner has a warranty period of 3 years on average. The minimum time is 1 year, but this is mainly the life of the battery or individual accessories
Popular brands include Samsung , Philips , Dyson , Tomas , Bosch , Xiaomi , KARCHER , LG , Bort , Polaris and Kitfort .
It is important, when choosing equipment from a specific manufacturer, to take into account the existence of service centers in your region and the availability of components in stores, so that in case of repair you do not have to wait for spare parts to be delivered directly from China.
Dust container type
The type of dust collector may vary between models. Dust and dirt accumulate in the dust collector, which must later be removed from the dust collector. The following types of dust collectors exist:
Cyclone filter
Cyclone filter or bagless dust collector. These vacuum cleaners have a special compartment that collects dust. A cleaning system is used based on the rotation of particles around the filter. In this case, the smallest particles settle on the filter, and the larger ones end up in the dust container. As the container fills, it must be emptied. The undoubted advantage of such dust collectors is durability. The downside is the large size of vacuum cleaners.
Aquafilter
Aquafilter (water filter) . A water cleaning system is used: the suction flow passes through a container of water, while all dust and dirt settles in this container. The disadvantages of this type of vacuum cleaner dust collector are the high price and the need to wash the compartment after each cleaning. However, such dust collectors are the most effective for cleaning. In addition, the suction power does not change during cleaning, while with other types the power drops as the dust tank fills.
Bag
The bag is the simplest and cheapest option for a dust collector. There are disposable paper bags and reusable fabric ones. Paper bags need to be changed over time, about once a month. Reusable bags are used much longer than paper ones, but their dust collection quality is lower.
Suction pipe - what should it be like?
This part plays an important role in the design of the vacuum cleaner. Some time ago, many models with plastic pipes were sold, and similar devices are still found (but rarely). If you don’t know how to choose the right vacuum cleaner, listen to the advice of professionals - they do not recommend buying devices with a plastic suction pipe. If it is made of metal, it will last much longer.
Structurally, the pipe can be solid or collapsible, connected from two tubes inserted into one another.
You can often find telescopic type suction pipes (shown in the image). They can be extended to the desired length, like a fishing rod, by locking them in this position. This is very convenient, and the coolest models of vacuum cleaners have this feature.
Vacuum cleaner filters
Vacuum cleaner filters clean the intake air from dust in order to release the already cleaned air. The more filtration stages (air purification stages), the cleaner the air, but the price is higher. Vacuum cleaners usually have 2-8 cleaning stages. A 4-stage cleaning system is quite sufficient if people with dust allergies or respiratory diseases do not live in the room. Otherwise, the number of cleaning stages must be more than 4. The first stage of cleaning is the passage of air through the dust collector. Most of the large and medium-sized dust particles settle there. The second stage of cleaning is the passage of air through the engine compartment filter.
It is worth paying attention to the quality of this filter: it protects the motor from dust. The remaining stages also contain different filters.
Modern vacuum cleaners may have a fine filter. With it you can purify the air from dust up to 95% and above. This filter is located at the outlet of the air flow from the vacuum cleaner. Examples of fine filters are S-class filters (HEPA, etc.) and electrostatic filters.
If possible, choose a vacuum cleaner with replaceable filters. Over time, the filters become clogged with dust, and if the filters are not replaceable, your vacuum cleaner will very soon have to be taken to a service center. Replacement filters can be cleaned and, if damaged, replaced.
Filtration system
To choose the right vacuum cleaner, you need to get an idea of its filtration mechanism. The indicator is characterized by the amount of dust per cubic meter of exhaust air. Efficiency is also expressed in the degree of air purity, which in the most elite models is equal to 99.9 percent. In each vacuum cleaner, the filtration system consists of the following stages:
- most of the debris that is absorbed by the device is retained in the dust collector;
- the second filter protects the first stage and plays a protective role, located in front of the motor;
- The first filters perform the role of deep cleaning.
If a store offers to purchase a model with a large number of cleaning filters, then this is just a marketing ploy.
Suction power
Suction power shows how powerfully the vacuum cleaner sucks up dust.
This is one of the most important parameters when choosing a vacuum cleaner. A power of 300 W is quite enough for cleaning a not very dirty room, for example, for cleaning parquet or linoleum. If you don’t clean very often or you have pets, the suction power should be 350-450 W or higher. Most modern vacuum cleaners have a power switching function. Therefore, when cleaning, you can adjust this parameter depending on the type of surface being cleaned.
Remember to clean the filter and empty the dust container from time to time. If this is not done, the suction power will become lower.
It is worth paying attention, the greater the suction power, the better. However, with higher power, noise levels and energy consumption increase.
Acceptable noise level
And this is also important - an overly “loud” device gets on your nerves and causes headaches. Therefore, we pay attention to the number of decibels indicated in the passport.
On March 12, 2002, a convention was adopted in Brussels declaring the noise level of various devices. This document bears the signatures of representatives of many well-known brands that produce vacuum cleaners. In particular, we can name the familiar companies Miele, Philips, Rowenta, LG, Bosch, Electrolux. The Convention determined that vacuum cleaners must be tested by the manufacturer with the engine turned on at maximum power.
Measurements are made as follows. The finished device is plugged into an electrical outlet, and a microphone is placed 30-50 centimeters from it. In addition, you need a device that measures the noise level and keeps a record. Tests are carried out 2 or 3 times (until the noise level becomes constant). This is how every vacuum cleaner is checked. Even if only 7 percent of the entire batch turns out to be “louder” than the remaining 93 percent, they will still declare the maximum noise level.
Modern models of vacuum cleaners should not make noise louder than 80 decibels. As an example, when a person whispers, he makes a noise of about 40 decibels. In stores, you mainly find models with a noise level of 70 decibels, and even 60-65 decibels. Cyclone-type vacuum cleaners make the most noise - much louder than models with dust bags.
Power consumption
Power consumption tells you how much electricity your vacuum cleaner will consume when operating.
The greater the power consumption, the more functions and capabilities the vacuum cleaner has. But such a vacuum cleaner will also consume more electricity. The minimum power consumption for vacuum cleaners is 21 W, the maximum is 2900 W and above. ADVICE No. 4 from ROS-POTREB
Check with the seller exactly what power is indicated in the description of the vacuum cleaner.
The power consumption value is always greater than the suction power. But the quality of operation of the vacuum cleaner does not depend on the power consumption, it is worth remembering. The quality of a vacuum cleaner depends only on the suction power .
Control
In this particular case, we will talk about the design of the device’s on-off system and regulation of the power level. The vacuum cleaner control system can be:
- Electronic. A rheostat-type regulator is used here, which allows you to smoothly regulate the power (like the volume of a radio). Most often, the regulator is located on the body, less often - on the telescopic tube of the vacuum cleaner. Some models are equipped with additional displays showing the (current) power value.
- Mechanical. In this case, a rotator or slider is used, located directly on the body of the vacuum cleaner. Switching is carried out in stages, according to clearly fixed values.
Some of the most modern models have the ability to automatically regulate suction power. That is, the vacuum cleaner independently analyzes the surface being treated and sets the necessary indicators.
Vacuum cleaner attachments
When choosing a vacuum cleaner, pay attention to the set of attachments that is included with each vacuum cleaner.
Make sure the kit includes the attachments that will be used most often. All vacuum cleaner attachments can be divided into the following types: nozzles for smooth surfaces, nozzles for carpets and crevice nozzles. If you have a lot of carpets in your home or have pets, choose a vacuum cleaner that has a turbo brush; it does an excellent job of collecting hair and lint. This nozzle has a built-in roller that rotates due to the air flow directed at it and collects wool and other debris.
Which vacuum cleaner to choose for an apartment with animals?
Just because a vacuum cleaner is effective at cleaning carpets does not guarantee that it will be effective at removing pet hair. During our research, two different tests were carried out: removing dust from the carpet and removing synthetic hair that imitates animal hair from the carpet. Read our review about the best vacuum cleaners for collecting animal hair from carpets. As a rule, to buy a good vacuum cleaner for cleaning houses with animals, you need high suction power and a special turbo brush. A part of the fur and hair is wound around this brush, which is then easily removed.
Safety at work
Undoubtedly, this is an important parameter when choosing a vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaners most often contain the following functions:
- Start blocking if there is no dust collector in the vacuum cleaner
- A smooth start of the engine will ensure a gradual increase in power. Consequently, the vacuum cleaner will work longer, because... there are no heavy loads associated with instant engine start.
- The dust bin full indicator will remind you that it is time to empty the dust bin.
- If the vacuum cleaner overheats, it automatically turns off, which is also convenient when using a vacuum cleaner if you want your vacuum cleaner to work longer.
- Also, a special rubber bumper can be installed on the vacuum cleaner. If the vacuum cleaner collides with furniture, it will not be damaged.

Extra options
factors influencing the correct choice of vacuum cleaner:
Vacuum cleaner cord length
The length of the vacuum cleaner cord is also very important when cleaning a room. The longer the cord, the further you can get from the outlet. It is best to buy a vacuum cleaner with a cord of at least 6 meters. However, if the cord is shorter, you can use an extension cord, although some manufacturers prohibit the use of extension cords, so check this point before purchasing.
Availability of telescopic tube
You can adjust the length of the tube and choose the best option.
Guarantee period
Typically, a vacuum cleaner comes with a warranty of 1 to 3 years. Few manufacturers offer a warranty longer than 3 years.
Noise level
. This parameter is worth paying special attention to. The more powerful the vacuum cleaner, the higher the noise level. Try to find a middle ground between these two parameters.
Advantages and disadvantages
It is hardly possible to create a universal top list of vacuum cleaners. All types of devices have their own advantages, and different models will work better in different conditions.
Advantages and disadvantages of different types of dust collectors:
pros | Minuses |
Dust bags | |
Inexpensive price of device with bag | Inconvenient cleaning and hand washing of reusable bags |
Quiet operation compared to devices with other types of dust collectors | Costs of purchasing disposable dust bags |
Large volume (bag dust collectors are the most capacious) | Suction power decreases as the bag fills |
Low hygiene - the contents of a bag that is not emptied on time may smell unpleasant
Container with cyclone
Convenient cleaning of the dust container | The need to clean the container after each cleaning |
High degree of air purification at the outlet | Noise generated during cyclone operation |
Aquafilter | |
Convenient cleaning of the container, which does not require contact with debris | Heavy weight of the entire device |
Air humidification during cleaning process | High cost: equipment with water tanks are the most expensive |
Excellent filtration system |
Vertical and conventional vacuum cleaners have their positive and negative sides. In terms of cost, these two types of devices differ little: there are both inexpensive and premium models.
Advantages and disadvantages of different types of technology:
pros | Minuses |
Horizontal | |
Easy to clean: only the suction tube and nozzle need to be held suspended | Heavy weight, which can make moving the device difficult |
Great suction power (high power device possible) | The radius of operation is limited by the length of the cord |
Vertical | |
Lightweight and maneuverable. Appliances easily collect dust in corners and cobwebs on the ceiling | Inability to clean under furniture |
Autonomous battery operation (not available on all models) | Battery capacity is limited and corded models may have short cables |
Takes up little storage space | Low suction power. For some models this value is only 100 W (although there are more powerful devices) |
Small dust container volume |
