In the winter season there are often bitter frosts. To eliminate pests from the surface of dried fruits, it is enough to take the product out into the cold and leave it in these temperature conditions for a couple of hours.
  • A large number of insects. If a jar, barrel or bag is actually infested with small pests, you will have to throw away the food supplies. You can roast dried fruits, but the process of sifting out dead insects will ruin your mood and take up a lot of time. Therefore, it is better to get rid of your favorite delicacy, and next year approach the harvesting process fully armed.
  • Rodents. During the cold season, country cottages and private city houses are often attacked by rodents wandering around in search of food.
