How to clean a sheepskin coat made of suede or laser-coated at home

Today we are free to choose the shoes that suit our taste: fashionable and comfortable, designer or sports, exclusive or affordable. The wealth of choice allows you to buy separate pairs for home and office, going to the cinema and playing sports, dates and meetings.

However, such a wide variety has given rise to many nuances - you need to choose the right models, be able to navigate the size chart, and also properly care for your purchase.

High-quality Italian shoes made from genuine leather do not require frequent cleaning. But before going outside for the first time, you need to treat the purchased model with dirt-repellent impregnation or protective cream. In this case, the products will be reliably protected from moisture, dirt and dust, and subsequent cleaning will be much more effective and quick.

It is enough to wipe wet but clean leather shoes with a dry cloth without using any substances.

Parra leather and laser treated

Nowadays there are many ways to produce leather shoes. Features of caring for such products differ depending on the manufacturing technology.

Thus, modern material - steam leather - is a thin film of slightly shiny leather, which is obtained from sheepskin. Wearing such products is a fairly practical solution, because shoes made from this type of material are sold with resins and dirt-repellent impregnations already applied. As a result, such products are not afraid of moisture and dirt. However, the top film can wear out and wear off quickly. The operating time depends strictly on how such models are cared for.

It is necessary to remember that these products should not be heavily wetted - basic care consists only of periodic cleaning with a dry cloth.

Laser-treated leather is simply normal leather that has been imprinted with images using a laser. Usually such products are sold as exclusive ones.

Caring for laser-treated shoes is very simple and does not differ from the rules for caring for ordinary leather models. But you need to remember that for such products it is worth using special creams and compositions.

Laser processed suede and suede

Shoe manufacturers obtain high-quality suede from the skin of sheep or deer. Such products from shoemakers are somewhat specific - thanks to the porous surface, they allow moisture and air to pass through very well. This means that suede products are not recommended to be worn in rainy weather, slush or at temperatures below 20 degrees below zero.

You should not allow the suede to get wet, but if this does happen, you should dry the shoes naturally at room temperature for 20 hours.

For daily care, specialized aerosols are used that protect suede from moisture and dirt, and prevent the appearance of salt solutions. These shoes require constant brushing with a rubber brush. If the product is heavily soiled, it is necessary to moisten the brush in warm soapy water with the addition of a small amount of ammonia. The cleaned suede is washed with cold water, slightly dried with steam and left to dry at room temperature.

The same care requirements apply to laser-treated suede material.

For daily care of such shoes, several types of cleaning can be used. This includes regular cleaning with a dry or damp cloth, treatment with a special vacuum cleaner, or cleaning with a roller with an adhesive surface.

If shoes or boots made of nubuck or velor get dirty or wet, they must first be dried and then combed with a brush. If there are greasy stains on the product, a special degreasing spray is first applied to the velor, after which the stained area is cleaned with a dry cloth.
